Joshua Ketchmark to Release Sophomore Effort, Karus Cruentes, 

LOS ANGELES (September X, 2010)- Hard rocking songwriter Joshua Ketchmark will release his highly anticipated EP, “Karus Cruentes”, on Jan 11th, featuring the impassioned and powerful single, “Breakdown”. After exploring hard hitting melodies and soulful rock ballads on his acclaimed 2008 full length release, “List of Regrets”, Ketchmark returns with a stripped-down sound that fans of the Los Angeles based artist will appreciate  for its raw expressiveness. In an attempt to capture the feeling of his demanding live presence, Joshua explains,  “It was important for me to strip away some of the production and focus on the parts that were really essential to the song and nothing else.”  Ketchmark collaborated wi th Andrew Ackland whose credits include the Eagles, Don Henley, and The Bravery to produce the record. The result is a meaningful progression for the passionate Ketchmark that can be heard on each of the 5 tracks on “Karus Cruentes”. 

Ketchmark’s soaring vocals and ear-catching guitar licks on the dark yet inspiring single, “Breakdown” demonstrate the artist’s trademark creativity through musical familiarity and the universal themes of guilt, loss, and redemption.
