DEATH TRAP è il singolo estratto dall’ultimo album di Joshua Ketchmark dal titolo Blood dove l’autore, musicista e compositore statunitense ha deciso di essere il cantastorie del racconto delle sue esperienze personali, con una nota discordante nel genere musicale folk moderno dal soft rock indipendente.
Joshua è un chitarrista e cantautore dalla decennale carriera artistica, dotato di ottime capacità e proprietà dell’uso del suo strumento musicale principale, insieme con una voce intonata, melodica e attrattiva.
DEATH TRAP è il singolo di presentazione capace di enfatizzare l’obiettivo di un lungo lavoro che ha raccolto canzoni scritte tra il 2018 e il 2019, passando attraverso l’uscita dell’album The Hantington Hotel nel 2021.
Nel 2022 include tutto e pubblica Blood, un album di 12 canzoni autoprodotte in stile country per una melodia soft rock, in quanto il lavoro è un autentico ritratto musicale dell’artista;

È un pezzo dallo stile country, soft rock e con una voce leggera del pop indipendente; La melodia ha sul podio la chitarra semi acustica con cassa elettrica suonata in accordi e arpeggi dell’autore, il quale durante il video ufficiale della canzone non se ne distacca mai, mentre pone fisso lo sguardo sull’obiettivo al fine di entrare in empatia con chi lo ascolta e rendere incisivi i suoi racconti.
