Taking A Trip Through The Midwest Listening To ‘Tazewell County Line’

Joshua Ketchmark is a talented and versatile singer and songwriter, from Nashville Tennesse who has been lighting up the music scene recently. He has been deeply involved in music for quite a while now and over the years Joshua has managed to evolve into a true powerhouse. Since he began releasing original music, Joshua has gone on to release five singles, one EP, and ten full-length albums, that have shown listeners all over the world exactly what he brings to the table as an artist. With each release, we get a better glimpse of Joshua not only as an artist but as a person, which creates a very intimate experience for his listeners. Joshua has quickly begun to cultivate a loyal following of supporters who really love what he is doing as an artist, and has even amassed around 8,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. He is truly a one-of-a-kind artist, which is why we are excited to show off his single, ‘Tazewell County Line’.
‘Tazewell County Line’ is a stunning, nostalgia-filled, Americana-styled track that comes from Joshua’s ‘Blood’ album. The song starts off with a smooth drum roll that leads to vintage-feeling guitar chords and soothing percussion that creates a dreamy soundscape right from the start. As the song progresses listeners are met with an emotional guitar melody that serves as the perfect segway into Joshua’s raw and real vocals that carries a plethora of emotions and feelings that leave listeners absolutely speechless. When we were able to speak with Joshua about the meaning behind this song, he explained to us, “The lyrics of This song center around my experiences growing up in central Illinois”. This is one of those songs that radiates a ton of energy and passion which gives it a ton of replayability.
