New, developing, and established artists enhance their careers by showcasing to the global music industry at the SXSW Music Festival each year. Showcases are curated by South By Southwest® in collaboration with record labels, booking agencies, management and PR firms, international export offices, music festivals, media outlets, industry trade organizations, lifestyle brands, and more.

San Jac Saloon is the only bar on 6th street offering two venues of live country music from open to close. We carry a large variety of Texas draft beer on tap and a wide selection of fine whiskeys. Swing by the saloon for some high energy performances.

We opened our doors in January of 2016, and have been a staple on 6th street ever since. The bar is inspired by Texas culture and heritage. The building was built in 1875 and you can still see some of the original masonry. The building that houses San Jac is part of the Austin Historical Society that focuses on maintaining the historical significance of Austin, and in particular 6th street, or Pecan street as it used to be known.
